Campbell Airstrip Entrance is the most popular park entrance. It is centrally located to access many trails. Most popular trails are flat.
Multi-Use Trails
Viewpoint/Old Rondy Trail/Tour of Anchorage Trail:
Difficulty: Easy
Viewpoint/Old Rondy/Tour of Anchorage tail, all are interchangeable name pointing a main multi-use trail running from Hilltop Ski Area to University Lake. The trail is wide, flat, and well maintained. From the parking lot, cross the bridge and you will be on the trail.
Old Rondy Trail (1.9 miles one-way to Tudor Intersection)
After you cross the brigdge, take right. The trail is flat and wide. As you go, you will see a sign to the Science Center. In 3/4 mile, you will cross a bridge. After the bridge, the trail will become bit narrower, have more roots, and become uneven surface. At times part of trail will be muddy. Keep going another half mile, you wil pass a second bridge. From here, the trail will be muddier. In 1/4 mile, trail becomes folked. Take left trail to continue. The trail becomes further muddier, but well passable. In 1/2 mile, you will cross a dog mushing trail and reach an intersection. Go straight under the bridge and you will reach Tudor Rd. The left paved trail goes to the Campbell Park.
Viewpoint Trail (1.8 miles one-way to Abbott Loop Trailhead Intersectoin)
After passing a bridge, take left.
Single Track Trail
Rover’s Run Trail (3 miles)
Diffculty: Easy
Rover’s Run is a single track trail along the Campbell Creak.
